Kochi all set for India-West Indies clash
Both the teams will look to take early advantage in the series by winning the first ODI

Kochi: Hundreds of cricket fans gathered at Nedumbassery Airport happily raised their smart phones to click at arriving Indian contingent but were left disappointed. Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his Champions League T20 final hero, dashing southpaw Suresh Raina, were missing.The local managers and members of the state association could disperse the crowd with the news of a 9.30 pm arrival of Raina but nobody seemed to know where the skipper was.
Later it was conveyed that Dhoni would arrive late in the night as he has had a stopover in Chennai where the Chennai Super Kings captain was being unveiled as the co-owner of Indian Super League side Chennaiyin FC. The remaining of the 14-member squad and support staff arrived in two batches by noon and a separate transportation was arranged for Amit Mishra and Murali Vijay who missed the team bus. The West Indies team had arrived an hour later.
Indian team will practice at the venue — Jawaharlal Nehru international stadium, at 9.30 am and the visitors are expected to train afternoon. The Micromax Cup for the one-day series will be unveiled by captains Dhoni and Dwayne Bravo later in the evening.
