“Anushka took time out of her busy schedule to meet the hair and make-up team for Virat’s new ad film to discuss the perfect look for him. Anushka has an impeccable eye for style, so it was easy for her to give inputs that would help perfect Virat’s screen image. A few days before the shoot, the duo were spotted at a celebrity stylist’s salon as Virat got a haircut,” according to a source. 

 

Our source claims that the actress was even overheard discussing the shooting of the commercial in a certain way with the ad film makers, especially since Virat seemed a tad anxious before the shoot.

On the day of the shoot, Virat locked himself in his van and rehearsed till he got it right, and a clip from his rehearsals made it to the final cut of the ad film. 

 

“There was a camera in his vanity van. The idea was to show him his rehearsals before the final take. Since the candid shots captured Virat’s off-screen personality, the team decided to incorporate a scene from the rehearsals in the ad film. Anushka too was game,” a unit member told us. 

 

Apparently, Virat Kohli’s rehearsals reveal the nervousness that a non-actor goes through before facing the camera.
