Early wishes for Amitabh Bachchan

Early Wednesday, Twitterdom was abuzz with tweets wishing Amitabh Bachchan a happy birthday. After a little confusion about why people were wishing Senior Bachchan well in advance of his birthday (he celebrates his birthday on 11 October), the answer was found on Big B’s Twitter account.

The veteran actor had tweeted, “Party Toh Banti Hai! Send birthday wishes with #AB72Wishes and get an exclusive signed digital poster!! ~ Bachchan Digital Team.”

No sooner had the tweet gone up, fans went into a frenzy and started sending hundreds of birthday wishes with the hashtag  #AB72Wishes. The tweet got more than 250 retweets in less than five hours. One thing is for sure, Big B (and his team) are quite the tech-savvy.
