Kochi: Hackers in India and Pakistan have been engaged in a Cyber war for the past several years. On Tuesday actor Mohanlal was in the line of one such cyber attack and his official website thecompleteactor.com was hacked for close to 30 minutes in the morning after a hacker managed to sneak into the website.

Interestingly the hacker mistook the website as an Indian Army website. Actor Mohanlal's connection with the Territorial Army was the main reason for the hacking incident.

The hacker calling himself Devil Haxor hacked Mohanlal's account and posted an update on his Facebook account claiming responsibility. The hacker bragged that he hacked an Indian Army site and it is an Eid Gift. Devil Haxor later in the day changed his Facebook account name to Sameer Ali. Hacker and his Facebook friends were seen celebrating the hacking incident on Facebook.

According to Manu Zachariah a Cyber Security hacking into major Indian websites is a common pehnmenon. Since 2010 several cyber attacks are happening. The style of hacking and the slogans posted by the hacker proves that this is similar to the previous attack he added.
