New Delhi: Intensifying the offensive against India, Pakistani forces are now planning to open a new front in the Samba sector of Jammu to target Indian security forces, civilians and BSF  border outposts. It is learnt that the Pakistan Rangers are exploring the option of shifting their area of operation after feeling the heat in Kanachak, Pargwal, R.S. Pura and Arnia sectors in Jammu.

According to intelligence inputs, the Pakistani Rangers are preparing for a fresh offensive by asking villagers on their side to vacate the border areas and move to the hinterland. Inputs shared with the agencies operating in the border reveal that the Rangers have made an announcement in Gidarpur village of Pakistan, opposite the BSF outpost Khoura, asking all villagers to immediately take shelter at a religious place.

Sources said that the move is part of a well-planned strategy being adopted by the Rangers before they unleash heavy firing. “Let them open a new front. We are prepared all along the border. We are capable of defending our borders,” BSF DG D.K. Pathak told this newspaper.
