Watch Live: HTC to launch their flagship cameras at an event tonight

The countdown has already begun, and HTC is all set to unveil one of their biggest products of the year, tomorrow. The company posted on its official Facebook page that the ’Double Exposure’ event will be held at 1.30 IST on October 9. HTC’s long rumoured 16MP action camera and its Desire Eye handset with a 13MP camera may be launched at this event.

Reports state that the tube-shaped HTC 16MP camera will have a waterproof body. This tube-shaped camera will support Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, to wirelessly connect it to smartphones. Bloomberg stated that new Android and iOS apps might be enabled on this camera. HTC’s new camera model may prove to be a tough competitor with GoPro camera.

The Double Exposure event also hints at the HTC M8 Desire Eye with 13MP cameras on both the rear and front. According to the leaked images of HTC M8 Desire Eye by @upleaks, the 5.2-incher handset will be powered 2.3GHz Snapdragon S801 processor, coupled with 2GB of RAM. The onboard storage capacity is estimated as 32GB and will also be fuelled with a 2,400 mAh removable battery.
