Hyderabad: The unit of the untitled Trivikram Srinivas-Allu Arjun film was supposed to go to Ooty for a shoot but the makers cancelled it in the last minute in view of the former TN chief minister being jailed and the resultant uproar in the state.
“The director and the producer felt that the shooting might get disrupted in Ooty due to the ongoing protests there. So they dropped the idea and decided to recreate the scene in Hyderabad,” says a source.
They asked art director Ravinder Reddy to erect a huge set on an open ground near Shamshabad. “It’s a destination wedding scene and the art director worked on the set day and night,” says the source, adding that they even flew in special flowers from Bangkok.
