BlackBerry Passport ‘Gold’ edition may launch soon

Tech companies seem to be in a race to launch luxurious handsets. With Apple iPhone 6 expected to have a 'Gold' edition by a third-party luxury brand (BRIKK) and now the news of Apple launching an iPad Gold version, It looks like BlackBerry is also planning something alike with their flagship model, the BlackBerry Passport.

Recently, BlackBerry officially launched the BlackBerry Passport, which is available on stands for Rs 49,990. A few days ago, leaked images of the BlackBerry Passport Gold edition, posted by Crackberry, have surfaced. The handset features a fancy look carries BlackBerry logo. However, it is not confirmed whether the Passport Gold edition is official from BlackBerry or if the handset is being encased in gold by a luxury brand.

Reports state that Paris Rose Gold, a company that makes gold editions of selective smartphones might be responsible for the BlackBerry’s luxurious Gold edition Passport. There is no confirmed news about the handset nor about the launch or unveiling of the same.
