Hafiz Saeed calls upon Pakistan government to declare jihad against India
‘Whole Pakistan was behind the armed forces in their action to counter Indian aggression’
Karachi: In a rally organised by Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) on Friday, its chief Hafiz Saeed condemned the firing along the Line of Control (LoC) and called upon the Pakistani government to declare a jihad against India.
A large number of JuD workers assembled on the Karachi Press Club to condemn Indian aggression, reported Dawn.
The participants carried banners and placards inscribed with the demand to wage jihad against India in the rally, shouted slogans and vowed to lay down their lives to defend their country.
"India should know that every citizen of Pakistan is ready to sacrifice his life for the protection of his country," Saeed said, adding that the whole nation was behind the armed forces in their action to counter Indian aggression.
Besides JuD's Karachi chief Dr Muzammil Iqbal Hashmi, Jamaat-i-Islami, leaders of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf and Jamiat Ulema-i-Pakistan also addressed the rally.
