Carrie Underwood’s motorcycle diaries

Mumbai: Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert might sing about Somethin’ Bad, but in an interview with CMT Hot 20 Countdown host Cody Alan, Carrie had nothing but good things to say about her feisty duet partner.

 

“Miranda is great,” she said. “I love strong women. It was so much fun getting to record that with her. And being onstage, I felt like we really would feed off of each other. Two blondes are better than one, right?”

 

When the song was released in May, Miranda surprised Carrie with a shiny new motorcycle to celebrate. And although Carrie’s husband Mike Fisher, an ice hockey star, bought her a smaller bike to learn on, Carrie said her pregnancy has forced her to put her riding lessons on hold.

 

“The whole pregnancy thing has kind of thrown a monkey wrench into my progress,” she said. “Mike bought me a little dirt bike to learn how to ride on first because the bike (Lambert bought) is a really big bike. So I need some practice, and I was like, ‘OK, I guess we’ll have to take a timeout on the motorcycle lessons for a while!’”
