Farmers protest at Chandrababu Naidu’s office over Saraswati factory
They demanded for the set up of Saraswati Cement Factory in Guntur

Hyderabad: Farmers from Guntur district protested at AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s camp office at the Lake View Guest House on Sunday.
They demanded that the government immediately set up Saraswati Cement Factory in Guntur. Mr Naidu had recently cancelled the factory permission as it is owned by the Leader of Opposition. Police resorted to mild caning to disperse the gathering.
Some farmers met Opposition leader Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, who assured them of taking legal action against the ‘political’ decision.
