1.25 crore letters: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to trumpet schemes
CM will be writing letters addressed to each individual beneficiary who has benefited
Bengaluru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will be writing letters to as many as 1.25 crore beneficiaries in the state who have reportedly benefited from the various welfare programmes launched by him in the last 17 months since he assumed power in 2013.
Speaking to Deccan Chronicle, a senior leader in the CM’s camp said, “Despite launching path-breaking programmes to uplift the poor in the state including Anna Bhagya and Ksheera Bhagya, there is an impression gaining ground that the Siddaramaiah government is not functioning effectively with criticism coming from even his own partymen. Therefore, the CM will be writing letters addressed to each individual beneficiary who has benefited from the programmes.
This is apart from, organising district level conventions where beneficiaries will be invited to share their experience with their counterparts and explain how his programmes modified their lives. Both these programmes will be launched in the next couple of weeks.”
