Saif Ali Khan to star in screen adaptation of Japanese thriller ‘The Devotion of Suspect X’

Mumbai: Saif Ali Khan, who is awaiting the release of his upcoming film ‘Happy Ending’, has bagged yet another role in a film. According to a report in a leading daily the star has been roped in the play the lead role in the screen adaptation of the Japanese thriller ‘The Devotion of Suspect X’.

The 2005 novel written by Keigo Higashino is one of the top 10 detective novels in Japan, according to the report Ekta Kapoor has acquired the rights to make a film based on the novel, and it will be directed by none other than Sujoy Ghosh of ‘Kahaani’ fame.

The story has three protagonists, two of which are yet to be decided.
