Google launched two most-awaited Nexus devices—the Nexus 6 and Nexus 9
Google has launched its two most-awaited Nexus series of smart devices -Nexus 6 and Nexus 9, along with Android 5.0 Lollipop.
The 6-inch Google phablet, manufactured by Motorola, is made of an aluminium frame and features a qHD display, with a resolution of 1440x2560 pixels (493ppi). The Nexus 6 is powered by a 2.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset and coupled with 3GB of RAM. The Nexus 6 is equipped with an Adreno 420 GPU and runs on the all-new Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system.
Motorola claims that the Nexus 6 comes with dual front-facing stereo speakers that deliver high-fidelity sound, for better audio experience during movies and gaming. The Motorola Nexus 6 features a 13MP rear camera with optical image stabilization and 2MP camera on its front.
The Motorola Nexus 6 is fuelled by a 3220 mAh battery. The 16GB and 32GB models of the Nexus 6 will be available in two colours variants—Midnight Blue and Cloud White. That Nexus 6 will be priced around Rs 40,000 to Rs 50,000 and will available for pre-order by the end of October. However, Google has not officially declared the prices for the Nexus devices in India as yet.

After launching the phablet, Google also unveiled the HTC Nexus 9. The HTC Nexus 9 has a soft grip back panel and subtle curves. It sports an 8.9-inch IPS display, with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The tablet is powered by a 2.3 GHz Nvidia 64-bit Tegra K1 processor, a 192-core Kepler GPU and 2GB of RAM. The Nexus 9 will be available in 16GB and 32GB storage variants, will sport an 8MP rear camera with a 1.6MP front camera and a 6700 mAh battery.
Pre-orders for the Nexus 9 tablet start from October 17, 2014, and available in three colours-Indigo Black, Lunar White and Sand.
Google has announced the availability of Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 on AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon as the official carriers.
