Kochi: Kerala High Court on Thursday asked the  Director of LBS Centre for Science and Technology not to publish the results of the SET exam-2013 till October 28.

A division bench comprising acting Chief Justice Ashok Bhushan and Justice A.M. Shaffique passed the interim order on an appeal filed by G. Sukumaran Nair, NSS general secretary. The single bench had rejected a petition
filed by the NSS challenging the relaxation in cut-off marks set in the State Eligibility Exam  for candidates belonging to reserved community.

The NSS argued that  the requirement of pass mark in SET exam for general category is 40 per cent for Paper I and II while 50 per cent marks are required for Paper III. OBC and SC/ST candidates need to score 35 per cent each in first two papers, and in Paper III OBC candidates have to score 45 and SC/ST 40 per cent .
