Visakhapatnam: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, said that he will stay put in Vizag to instill confidence among denizens and will not leave city, until normalcy is restored in devastated Vizag.

True to his commitment Naidu has been sleeping in a bus and working from it from Monday, ever since he arrived here after cyclone Hudhud slammed Vizag and other parts in the region.

The chief minister has been holding review meetings with his cabinet colleagues and few officials inside the Air-Conditioned bus, which was parked in front of the district Collectorate entrance. From reading newspapers to discussion on various issues for few hours, Naidu has chosen the bus as suitable venue.

“Being a leader I have to serve the people, particularly in the hour of series of difficulties and I can’t relax till Vizag returns to normalcy,” Naidu added.

Our mission is clear and we would not spare any one, who failed to attend the relief and rescue operations, he said. “It is time to work round the clock and I have ordered all government officials. City is slowly limping back to normalcy and power supply is expected to be restored in the city by Sunday night,” he added. Police and few other officials at Collectorate are surprised with Naidu’s dedication and commitment.
