Sweden's Pontus Tidemand and co-driver Emil Axelsson set the fastest time at the shakedown, ahead of this weekend's International Rally of Whangarei - the opening round of the FIA Asia Pacific rally championship.
THRISSUR: The Thrissur motor show has been enthralling viewers with Robo Ravage, where teams from different colleges fight it out with remote-controlled robots.

“The show is an educative venture as we arranged many informative classes on road safety”, said K.P.Praveenkumar, coordinator of the show. A bike stunt show was also performed as part of the programme. The show will conclude on Sunday.

Around 3 pm, the event showcased an imperious parade of Royal Enfield Bullets, a symbol of absolute masculinity as far as the Malayali is concerned. The rally around the Swaraj Round was followed by a competition at the TMS venue, to find out the majestic of all Bullets.

The fair was organised by the mechanical engineering department of Government Engineering College students.
