Hyderabad: Awarding of contracts worth up to Rs 5 lakh through “nomination basis” without inviting e-tenders or following a competitive bidding process is set to be restored in Telangana.

Nomination basis contracts were scrapped five years ago in the state following several complaints of nexus between the ministers, officials and contractors.
