Kolkata: The Congress in West Bengal will likely move a no-confidence motion against the state government on Saradha scam, Burdwan blast and other issues and will also organise a march to the Assembly in November.

"We don't have any confidence on this government, so we are moving a no-confidence motion against this Trinamool Congress regime," state Congress president Adhir Chowdhury said.

Chowdhury, who presided over the extended Congress committee meeting on Saturday said that the Congress would fight against the TMC, BJP and the Left and would increase its political space in the state.

He also said that his party was against infiltration, but the issue should not be linked to a religion. "Infiltration is a serious issue and it should not be linked to a particular religion. The issue has social and economic implications and it needs to be looked into," said Chowdhury.
