New Delhi: Refuting criticism that the Narendra Modi government has made a U-turn on disclosing the names of those having black money stacked up in Swiss bank accounts, finance minister Arun Jaitley on Saturday asserted that the government’s approach on the issue “is doggedly persistent, not adventurist”.
Mr Jaitley said the government “stands committed to detecting the names, prosecuting the guilty and making them public”, but will not be pushed into an act of adventurism and jeopardise the chances of getting cooperation of other countries in the future.
