YS Jagan Mohan Reddy wants to skip court

Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy and Mr Vijay Sai Reddy were granted conditional bails in the case

Hyderabad: YSR Congress chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy filed a petition seeking exemption from personal appearance during the hearing of the quid-pro-quo case on October 21. Mr. Reddy’s counsel filed the petition at the special court for CBI cases in Hyderabad.

In the petition, Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy, who is currently touring Cyclone Hudhud-ravaged Vizag, sought the special court’s permission to exempt him from personal appearance.

Meanwhile, Vijay Sai Reddy, another accused in the case, too filed a petition seeking permission to visit Delhi, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu till March 15, 2015.

Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy and Mr Vijay Sai Reddy were granted conditional bails in the case. One of the bail conditions was to not leave Hyderabad without prior permission of the court.
