Hyderabad: The ongoing strike in the Telugu film industry has started to worry filmmakers. Last Monday the producers had stopped shooting and now the Federation employees have called a strike.

“Yes, we have already given a strike notice to the Producers Council and the AP Film Chamber. Our employees are not going to work and all shootings will stop,” says Rajeswar Reddy, president of AP Film Federation Employees Association.

When asked about Baahubali’s ongoing shoot, he says that the makers had got a special permission from the Producers Council as it’s a high-budget film.

“Our employees are not working on the film and they were hiring RFC employees. From Tuesday onwards they are also supporting our strike and shooting for Baahubali will also stop,” he says.

The strike has been called because the producers are not willing to pay the revised pay hike.
