Based on the tip off, the Ukkadam police team conducted a raid and seized Rs 28 lakh from S. Sheshu alias Adhikesavan, a native of Ramji Nagar, Tiruchy.

Adhikesavan told the police that his gang members diverted the attention of a driver and took away Rs 40 lakh from a car that was parked on Range Gowder Street on October 11. Special teams are on the look-out for three others involved in the crime.
