Illegal fire cracker units to face action
The revenue officials to inspect all the facilities and safety norms in the fire cracker units
KAKINADA: Deputy Chief Minister and the Home Minister Nimmakayala Chinarajappa on Monday said that all the unlicensed fire cracker manufacturing units would be closed in the state.
Speaking to mediapersons after visiting fire cracker blast incident at Vakathippa village in East Godavari district on Monday, along with District Collector Neethu Prasad, Pithapuram MLA SVSN
Varma, he told that he has already instructed all superintendents of police in the state to take steps for illegal fire cracker units in the state.
He made it clear that without verification of the units, the officials should not allow any fire cracker units to operate or manufacture crackers. He directed the revenue officials to inspect all the facilities and safety norms in the fire cracker units before according them the permissions.
Kakinada MP Thota Venkata Narasimham said that the government would take all steps for helping the victims and the family members of the deceased in the blasting incident.
