Coimbatore: A foetus was found in the Ukkadam sewage treatment plant in the city on Friday morning. Sanitary workers spotted the foetus and alerted the police.
The foetus which is said to be five months old was recovered from the sewage treatment plant and sent to the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital for treatment. Hundreds of residents from Ukkadam gathered to see the foetus lying in the channels of the sewage treatment plant.The Ukkadam police are probing.
