Telangana launches armed police patrol SUVs

As many as 21 SUVs and men armed with selfloading rifles are set to start patrolling Cyberabad roads

Hyderabad: Telangana State home minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy on Saturday stated that the government was ready to spend any amount of money to ensure safety of its citizens.

Launching the armed police interceptor vehicles in Cyberabad, the home minister said that Hyderabad is set to become the best city in terms of law and order. As many as 21 SUVs and men armed with selfloading rifles are set to  start patrolling Cyberabad roads.

“You have to try your best and ensure the safety of citizens. There is no worry about funds  as the government is ready to spend to improve security,” said Mr Reddy addressing cops during the vehicle launch at mindspace junction in Madhapur.
