YSR Congress to take the fight to TD on poll promises
YSRC will donate Rs 50,000 to the kin of the victims of Cyclone Hudhud
Vijayawada: The YSR Congress has decided to launch an agitation against the failure of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu in fulfilling his poll promises, especially waiving of farmers’ and DWACRA groups’ loans, from November.
Speaking to reporters after the party’s general body meeting here, YSRC leaders said that dharnas will be held on November 5 in front of all the mandal offices demanding the TD government fulfil its promises. These would be followed by a string of agitational programmes if the government does not respond.
The YSRC will donate Rs 50,000 to the kin of the victims of Cyclone Hudhud from the YSR Foundation, apart from monetary and other assistance to the affected by the party cadre.
It was also decided to revamp the committees of all levels to strengthen the party.
YSRC leaders Ummareddy Venkateswarlu, K. Parthasarathi, Meka Pratap Apparao, Kodali Nani, Rakshananidhi, Uppuleti Kalpana, V. Radha Krishna, B. Vedavyas and others were present.
