Homi Adjania says Deepika Padukone’s got no time for him

Homi Adjania, while attending a film festival recently, got the media very excited when he made a not so flattering comment on Deepika Padukone.

The filmmaker publicly announced that Deepika has no time for him. Apparently, Homi has offered Deepika lead roles in two of his upcoming films. While she has verbally committed to one film, she has made it clear that her dates are blocked due to prior commitments.

Deepika, who is busy with Imtiaz Ali’s film currently, will commence shooting for one of Homi’s films by year-end. And in all likelihood she might not be able to spare her dates for his other project. Homi’s blatant remark about Deepika has triggered yet another round of speculations about their equation.

“If I had my way I’d cast Deepika in all my films. She is committed to doing one film for me. I’m not sure about the other one. She’s too busy for me,” the director was overheard talking to a scribe.

The Homi-Deepika combination has so far worked wonders at the box office. “Deepika has had many hit films in her name but it was Cocktail that changed the game for her.

And since their collaboration has worked so well, it’s natural for Homi to want Deepika for his upcoming films,” says a source. While the filmmaker’s words have caused suspicion, Deepika and close aides insist that all’s well between Homi and her.
