First smartphone for senior citizens

Suddenly phone makers seem to have discovered that some of their customers might be old and possibly infirm: Mobiles for senior citizens have been basic feature phones; but Mitashi has launched what is arguably the first smartphone for Senior citizens in India – the Mitashi PLAY Senior Friend.
It caters to them with large font dialer, large font for storing contacts and reading messages,FM radio, SOS button for emergencies, color coded icons for seniors who cant read or write, Dual sim and Dual camera.The smartphone runs Kitkat android version on a 4 inch IPS screen with 1.2 G Hz Dual Core Processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of in-build memory and is reasonably priced at Rs. 4999.
