Deepika Singh recovering after minor surgery

Mumbai: Diya aur Baati Hum’s leading lady, Deepika Singh, we hear is recovering from a minor injury on the sets of the show. The actress who plays a police inspector on DABH had to wear uncomfortable formal shoes for a sequence, which led to a chipped toenail. She completed the shoot, but was in pain for a long time after, and hence has been taking rest so that it heals quickly. We wish her a speedy recovery.
