Natural Design (Winner)- "Cardinal sparks" by Patrik Bartuska (Czech Republic)
Birds (Winner)- "Birds in time and space" by Bence Máté (Hungary)
Mammals (Winner)- "The mouse, the moon and the mosquito" by Alexander Badyaev (Russia/USA)
Overall Young Wildlife Photographer of the Year- "Stinger in the sun" by Carlos Perez Naval (Spain). The shortlisted images are currently on display at the Natural History Museum's special exhibit for the winners.

There were around 42,000 submissions from 96 different countries, a panel of judges selected some of the best images out there. This perfect picture was awarded Earth’s Environments (Winner)- "Apocalypse" by Francisco Negroni (Chile)
