Hyderabad: Congratulations are still pouring in for Sania Mirza who made the country proud after winning the doubles title at the WTA Finals earlier this week. Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated her and wrote on Twitter: “Congratulations to @MirzaSania for the victory in WTA finals. This is yet another proud accomplishment!”
The tennis champ landed in Hyderabad on Tuesday and couldn’t help but share her excitement with the fans. “I am finally home.. My season is over and I would like to thank each and everyone of you that has helped me through this year, in the tough times and the good times. It’s been an amazing year on the court for me,” she wrote on social media.
