Will expose Chandrababu Naidu if he criticises me: Talasani
Talasani said that two states should focus its development alone
Hyderabad: Sanathnagar Telugu Desam MLA Talasani Srinivas Yadav said the TD was in the hands of contractors, who were being encouraged by none other than Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TD chief N. Chandrababu Naidu by ignoring the feelings of party leaders and people.
“N.T. Rama Rao garu had said Samajame Devalayam, Prajale Devullu (society is temple and people are gods), but Chandrababu Naidu feels contractors are gods and businessmen are society. The TD is in the hands of contractors. He has ignored BCs,” Mr Yadav rued.
Asserting that Banga-ru Telangana can be achieved only through Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s efforts, Mr Yadav alleged that Mr Naidu shamelessly tried to retain him with sops to him and his family.
“I never heard a party leader trying to buy his MLAs. He asked me what I wanted? What my family wanted? By winning Andhra region Mr Naidu becomes CM, but names Krishnaiah as CM candidate in Telang-ana since the TD will not win here. Why did he not name Balakrishna for CM’s post in AP who is from TD founder NTR clan,” Mr Yadav questioned.
Mr Yadav, Maheshwa-ram Telugu Desam MLA Teegala Krishna Reddy and MLC Vullolla Gan-gadhar Goud, who quit the TD to formally join the TRS in Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s presence here on Wednesday, took potshots at Mr Naidu at the public meeting at Meerpet and blamed him for the power crisis.
The three legislators alleged that Mr Naidu was hatching a conspiracy to destabilise the TRS government and create unrest in Telangana.
“Mr Naidu has thrown NTR’s ideals to winds. If Mr Naidu tries to criticise me, I will expose him like a daily serial. You will see it in the days to come,” Mr Yadav warned.
Stating that Mr Naidu was eyeing Hyderabad, Mr Yadav quipped, “He goes to Andhra region in the morning and comes back to Hyderabad by night. He is trying to create hurdles for the Telangana government. Why should he bother about Telangana after bifurcation,” he asked.
Referring to the ongoing tussle between the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh governments on various issues, Mr Yadav said whether one accepts it or not, two states have been formed and each should focus its attention on development alone.
Asking Mr Naidu to go for self-introspection, Mr Yadav said, “Some brokers of the Telugu Desam and a section of the media are working against Telangana interests. The TRS flag will be there in every basti in Hyderabad. The TRS will rule Telangana and Hyderabad,” he said.
Mr Krishna Reddy said he quit the TD after 32 years for the good of people and extend a helping hand in the development of Telangana under the leadership of K. Chandrasekhar Rao.
