Hyderabad: The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet on Thursday did not discuss the crucial Board of Intermediate Education issue, said labour minister K. Atchannaidu. AP human resources minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao had on Monday said that he would take a final call on the issue after consultations with Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. However, the AP government has not announced its final stand yet.

The Telangana State government has stated that it will not back down from its demand to hold separate exams for Intermediate and Eamcet.

BIE officials have already informed the two governments that the process for conducting  exams is lagging behind by a month.

Some officials say AP might take a legal route to solve this issue, but this has not been confirmed till now.
