Chennai: Thiagarajan is leaving no stones unturned for his son Prashanth’s comeback vehicle Saahasam. He says that it is a musical movie which will be composed by Thaman and he has roped in India’s best singers including Shreya Ghoshal, Mohit Chauhan, Arjit Singh and Shankar Mahadevan, for the songs.

Talking to DC from Mumbai, Thiagarajan reveals that Thaman has given an experimental number to Shreya Ghoshal.  Penned by lyricist Kabilan, the song goes Pudikkum, Pudikkum…

“Shreya is known for her melodies and she has even won National Award for the song Munbe Vaa. Here, my composer wanted, to try out a semi-kutthu number in a different tone which has sizzling lyrics. And much to our surprise, the thorough professional that she is, she never had problems with Tamil diction and completed it in just one take and in an hour’s time! She proved that given an opportunity, she excels.”

But he is still tight lipped about the female lead in the movie who, according to sources, is a newcomer.
