Two minor girls raped in Anekal

The accused have been booked for kidnap, rape and sections under POCSO

Police has booked a case under Sections 376 of IPC and 5 and 6 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act 2012.

Bengaluru: Two minor girls were kidnapped in a car by three men and raped for over 20 days under Anekal police station limits. The two girls aged 17 and 15 years went missing since October 3, when they had gone to a temple on Chandapura main road.

According to the complaint lodged by the victims’ parents, the two girls were kidnapped and raped and then abandoned four to five days ago where they lived in Kavala Hosahalli in Janatha Colony.

The complaint was lodged on Friday and the police have arrested Muthuraj, 23, a resident of Chikkanagar.

Two others identified as Manjunath 23, from Mosur Madivala and Manjunath 23, from Shettihalli have been absconding. According to the police, the 17-year-old girl was working for a garment factory, while the 15-year-old girl was studying in a school in Malur.

The accused have been booked for kidnap, rape and sections under POCSO and the investigations are underway.
