Coimbatore: Police are on the lookout for a Corporation contractor for circulating video footage with derogatory remarks about AIADMK general secretary J .Jayalalithaa.
Police said Ramesh, a member of the Coimbatore Corporation contractors association had circulated a video footage to other members and office bearers of the association through WhatsApp.
In his complaint, Chandra Prakash, secretary of Coimbatore Corporation contractors association, alleged that Ramesh had sent a footage that spoke ill of the former CM with regard to the disproportionate assets case. It also criticised the AIADMK ministers, who wept while taking oath during the formation of a new cabinet.
Based on a complaint, the CCB police inspector S Mariamuthu registered a case against Ramesh, who is now on the run. A special team has been formed to nab him.
