Chandrababu Naidu reacts to KCR's remarks, says anyone is free to hold meet
Naidu also said he has asked centre to look into Telangana's power problems
Hyderabad: Reacting to the statement made by Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao about holding a meeting at Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu retaliated, “Anyone can hold meetings anywhere they want.”
Mr Rao, speaking at a public function on Sunday held at Malkajgiri in Hyderabad, said that he would soon hold a meeting at Vijayawada to “reveal the true colours” of Mr Naidu to the people of Andhra Pradesh.
The meeting was attended by TD Malkajgiri MP Malla Reddy. Later, Mr Malla Reddy and other Telangana TD leaders met Mr Naidu and informed him about Mr Rao’s statement.
AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said even though the Telangana Chief Miniser K. Chandrasekhar Rao is not fighting Andhra Pradesh problems, he (Mr Naidu) is fighting for the problems of Telangana.
Mr Naidu said that he has consulted the Centre on the problem of power being faced by Telangana and asked them to allot power to Telangana.
He said that he has prepared an action plan to face the power problem in Andhra Pradesh, but Mr Rao did not consult the Centre on the power problem facing by the Telangana state.
