Mumbai: Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence has bought a house in Beverly Crest for USD 8.225 million.
The house was sold to the 24-year-old actress by Sydney Holland, who had bought it a year ago from singer Jessica Simpson for USD 6.4 million, reported the Los Angeles Times.
The 5,500-square-foot house was custom made in 1991 and has high ceilings, an updated kitchen, an office, five bedrooms and six bathrooms. The front of the house has a stone and floral courtyard with a koi pond.
The spectacular landscaped greenery also leads to a rectangular swimming pool set in a lush lawn and surrounded by trees and alongside an outdoor patio. Inside the house, a gourmet kitchen provides the perfect setting for any aspiring chef, while a dining room with high ceilings is the ideal location for dinner parties. Other amenities inside the house include an office, a gym and a fully-equipped library.
Jen was seen on the small screen in The Bill Engvall Show from 2007 to 2009. She has been in the films American Hustle, Winter’s Bone and The Burning Plain. She won a lead actress Oscar for Silver Linings Playbook (2012).
