KarimnagarKarimnagar MP B. Vinod Kumar claimed that he and Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao had represented to Prime Minister Narendra Modi around 48 times the many problems of the state.

He was addressing a press conference here on Monday. Lashing out at public representatives and leaders belonging both to the Telugu Desam and the Congress for frequently targeting the TRS-led government over many issues of the state, Mr Vinod said that they were willfully trying to tarnish the image of the government.

The Karimnagar MP claimed that he had raised several issues that were plaguing the state in the two sessions of Parliament held after the creation of Telangana. But, representatives and leaders belonging both to the TD and the Congress are trying to mislead the public by making comments against the performance of the government and ministers, he said.

He asserted that the UPA-led government passed an Ordinance merging  seven mandals of Khammam district with Andhra Pradesh. No Congress MP spoke against the Ordinance when it was brought for discussion in  Parliament, the Karimnagar MP said.
