CM N Chandrababu Naidu: I Cleared Hero Motor file across table

Bengaluru: The breaking up of Andhra Pradesh and the loss of Hyderabad to Telangana still rankles, but N. Chandrababu Naidu, back at the helm as Chief Minister after 10 years, albeit of a much-smaller AP, is once again a man on a mission.

Mr. Naidu  held his first industry roadshow in Bengaluru on Tuesday, vowing to build ‘Brand AP’ again. In a signal to CM Siddaramaiah, Mr. Naidu recalled the competition between Bengaluru and Hyderabad when he was CM of undivided AP in 1999-2004 and S.M. Krishna was his counterpart in Karnataka.

Mr. Naidu recently snatched a Hero Motor Corp project from the hands of Mr. Siddaramaiah “I cleared the Hero Motor Corp file and decided all the incentives across the table”, he told a CII gathering.
