Motorola launches Maxx, an international version of Droid Turbo with 21MP camera

Moto Maxx features an AMOLED touchscreen display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection

Motorola has launched the Moto Maxx, an international version of Droid Turbo with 21MP camera. The all-new Moto Maxx sports a 5.2-inch (1440 x 2560 pixels) display carrying a pixel density of 565 ppi. Its Super AMOLED touchscreen comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

Motorola Moto Maxx is also powered by the 2.7GHz Snapdragon 805 processor, having 3GB of RAM and is fuelled with a non-removable 3900 Li-Po battery. Available in 32GB and 64GB variants, this new device sports a 21MP rear/ 2MP front camera. Moto Maxx weighs around 176 grams and its thickness measures around 3mm.

The company has added a layer of DuPont Kevlar fiber, a material that is five times stronger than steel. Motorola claims that Moto Maxx is protected inside and out with water-repellent nano-coating.

At present, the Moto Maxx is available only in Brazil and will go on sale in Mexico soon .
