Andhra Pradesh govt to start waiving of farmers' loans from November 15

‘20 per cent of the total amount required for the purpose has already been released’

Rajahmundry: Andhra Pradesh government will start waiving of loans to farmers from November 15, state Deputy Chief Minister N China Rajappa said on Saturday.

"The waiving of loans to farmers and Development of Women and Children in Rural Areas (DWCRA) groups will commence from November 15, after completion of Janmabhoomi programme,"

China Rajappa said, adding that 20 per cent of the total amount required for the purpose has already been released. He said a dedicated 100-bed hospital would be set up at

Samarlkota in East Godavari district under Janmabhoomi-Mavru programme, a citizen-government collaborative programme for rural development.
