Hyderabad: The Andhra Pradesh government has created new posts of deputy superintendents of police for the women police stations. A task force has also been set up for curbing red sanders smuggling. Additional DG R.P. Thakur has been appointed as in-charge DGP of the state as DGP J.V. Ramudu is on tour to Israel to take part in Homeland security conference in Tel-Aviv. About 123 inspectors has been promoted as DSPs. “New posts of DSPs have been created for all the women police stations in the districts and commissionerates in AP to ensure prompt justice to women,” said Mr Thakur.
