Pune: Playing at home, FC Pune City (PUN) could not register their third win in a row and drew the game 1-1 against the Chennaiyin FC (CHE) at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex Stadium in Pune on Tuesday.

9: GOAL! The stadium erupted in a joy as hometeam FC Pune City’s Kostas Katsouranis netted the first goal. He set up the goal beautifully. First, he played the ball towards Gurung at right. Gurung put in a well-timed left-footed cross and Katsouranis cashed in when it mattered.

29: Geez! Chennaiyin FC came inches closer to net the equaliser. But this time the crossbar blocked their attempt. Elano hit an almost perfect free-kick only to be denied a goal by the crossbar.

38: In came stretcher and out went Lenny Rodrigues. A clash with Elano brought down Lenny Rodrigues and the FC Pune City’s player looked in a great pain.

58: GOAL! Mendoza scored. Balwant chipped in with a smart pass and Mendoza's good luck finally smiled on him as he netted a much-needed equaliser for Chennaiyin FC.

74: Selfless play from Elano! First the Brazilian let the Denson ball go to Balwant. Balwant then passed it back to Elano. The Brazilain then, instead of hogging the limelight, passed the ball to Balwant who had a better chance to net a goal. Unfortunately, Chennaiyin FC could not score a goal on this occasion.
86: Arindam with another fine save. Elano passed one beautifully towards Mendoza outplaying the FC Pune City defenders. But the hometeam’s goalkeeper did not allow the visitors to add one more goal to their account.
