RSS, not PM Narendra Modi invited to Jawaharlal Nehru's 125th birth anniversery meet
A host of international leaders have given their consent for participation
New Delhi: The Congress has not invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to an international conference it is organising to mark the 125th birth anniversary of Jawaharlal Nehru here on November 17th and 18th.
The two-day conference being held at Vigyan Bhawan, could see top national leaders of the Samajwadi Party, Trinamul, RJD, JD(U), NCP, BSP, Left and Dravadian Parties attending it barring the BJP and its allies—the Shiromani Akali Dal, Shiv Sena, TDP, the RSS — and others.
This was made it clear by the organisors. A host of international leaders have given their consent for participation. Those who believe in democracy, secularism, pluralism, inclusive society and ideas of Nehru would be invited, they clarified.
