Mumbai: 'PK' strikes again with its second song Love is a Waste of Time. Featuring Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma, it is a romantic number sung by Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal. The song has a catchy rhythm. Interestingly the track calls to mind Zoobi Doobi from Rajkumar Hirani's '3 Idiots' which was also crooned by the same playback singers.
Keeping in sync with the general mood of the film; Love is a Waste of Time is a humourous track with soft beats and funny lyrics. The singers have tried to add the Bhojpuri accent, though quite unconvincingly. Shantanu Moitra has composed music for the song, while Amitabh Varma has penned the lyrics. The music video begins with a spellbound Aamir who cannot take his eyes off the exuberant Anushka Sharma. The song gives us a tourist's eye view of Qutub Minar, Humayun's tomb, the much-spoken about Delhi metro and various malls in the capital.
A transistor-wearing Aamir follows Anushka and is up to his usual alien antics. After Tharki Choro, Love is a Waste of Time promises quirky romance between the duo.
