BEL worker’s wife kills daughter, hangs self

The deceased have been identified as Saviya (daughter) and Meenakshi (mother).

 

According to the police, Meenakshi and Ujwal have been married for five years and are native of Rajasthan. Ujwal is employed with Bharath Electronics Ltd. The family was residing at a rented house in Gokulam 1st stage on Mathikere main road.

 

“There was domestic dispute between the husband and wife on Tuesday night and the husband claimed to have left house at 8:30 am on Wednesday for work. He had called his wife at about 10 am but she did not respond. When he returned home at 4:30 pm, he found both his wife and daughter dead,” police said.

 

“Meenakshi’s parents live in Mumbai and are on the way to the city and after inquiring her parents, we will initiate action accordingly,” said T.R.Suresh, DCP, North Division.
