Dubai: The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Friday declared the winners of the 2014 annual awards.

While no Indian was a part of ICC Test team of the year, MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Mohammad Shami featured in the ODI team of the year.

ICC ODI Team of the Year 2014 (In batting order):
Mohammad Hafeez, Quinton de Kock, Virat Kohli, George Bailey, AB de Villiers, MS Dhoni (wicketkeeper) (captain), Dwayne Bravo, James Faulkner, Dale Steyn, Mohammad Shami, Ajantha Mendis, Rohit Sharma (12th man).

AB de Villiers meanwhile won ICC ODI Cricketer of the Year award. The South African defeated fellow countrymen Quinton de Kock and Dale Steyn and India’s Virat Kohli to bag the trophy.

Mithali Raj, who was shortlisted in ICC women's one-day cricketer of the year category was beaten by England’s Sarah Taylor.
