Bengaluru: The K P Agrahara police have rescued an 8-yr-old boy who was kidnapped and have arrested his uncle, who had demanded a ransom of Rs 8 lakh for the safe release of the boy.

The accused has been identified as Anand (34), a resident of Banasawadi. According to the police, Anand and his younger brother Sundar, an auto driver and a resident of K P Agrahara, had sold a property recently and there was a dispute between them over sharing the money.

So, Anand decided to kidnap Sundar’s son Ganesh. “Anand allegedly kidnapped Ganesh on November 10 and made a ransom call to his father. Sundar immediately approached the police and filed a complaint”, police said.
